The [BAS] acronym stand for BuildFLOW Archival Systems. A combination of high technology and and best-practices solutions, this system offers the user increased protection from data loss.
BuildFLOW's DataSafe Features
DataSafe features are built right into our BuildFLOW system and are available as standard features for every user. These features include:
Protected & Secure. Only team members can login, using their individual e-mail address and unique password. Only your designated administrator can add or delete team members or alter permissions. Each contact is assigned a unique guest ID number and can only access projects they have been invited to review. Permissions and security options can be set at both company wide and project levels. Every activity is logged so all transactions are verifiable. UNAUTHORIZED VIEWING IS NOT POSSIBLE.
Daily Backups. We do the daily backups of your BuildFLOW data so you never have to worry about it, or devote huge man-hours to its execution. This single feature saves our clients many thousands of dollars per year. YOUR DATA IS PROTECTED.
BuildFLOW's [BAS] Features
The BuildFLOW Archival System build upon the feature set already offered within our DataSafe offerings. For a small premium [BAS] offers the following additions:
Geographic Redundancy. In addition to the daily backups, [BAS] enabled accounts are provided with the increasingly important option to have their data backed up to additional geographic locations. This insures your teams efforts against any regional disaster.
Archival Storage. Data storage goes beyond the active life of your building project. Long after a building is finished, the plans are needed for reference and future alterations. Our longterm archives ensure your data's safety and future viability.
Archival Retrieval Systems. The [BAS] retrieval features allows clients access to much older projects that may no longer be in the active systems. All such plans and document retrieval can be requested from within the BuildFLOW interface.
Why DataSafe [BAS] ?
A Pepperdine University sponsored report on data loss in business starts off with:
