Can document files be edited?
No, all files are stored in non-editable PDF or TIFF file formats. If editable files are submitted they are converted to PDF or TIFF files before they are posted in BuildFLOW.
Do I have to retain hard copies and originals?
NO, Every scanned document is stored in BuildFLOW. You can order hard copies whenever you need them.
How do I know if I am looking at the most recent versions of a document?
A colorful flag is displayed when you are looking at the most recent version of document in BuildFLOW. The document wizard and dynamic folders can automatically update folders with the latest documents, and recommend who needs to receive hard copies.
Can I view older versions of a particular document?
Yes, a complete history of each document is always available and easy to access.
How do you create and store project bid packages in BuildFLOW?
Creating bid packages is easy within BuildFLOW. Document folders are utilized to create each bid package. All the documents including scopes of work, schedules, etc. are placed in their respective building trade folder. We can also include sealed bid packages with the order when required.
Can I ship on the recipients account or have them pick up at your location?
You can do either one. We store the recipient's account number with their address information for easy access when ordering. Additionally, pick-up service at our facility provides real-time signature and time stamp tracking online.
